On behalf of Astrid Herhoffer, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Media and Design, I would like to invite you to the Degree Show Industry and Stakeholders Evening, which takes place on Wednesday 16th June 2010.

The purpose of this event is to provide you with the opportunity to:

· Learn more about the ways in which the Faculty is working in partnership with a broad range of employers and practitioners; in particular, in developing knowledge transfer and flexible learning across different sectors.

· View the work of over 300 of our graduating students from a range of art and design disciplines, including Graphic Design, Photography, Fine Art, Media Production, Animation and 3-D Design.

· Network and engage with a diverse range of fellow professionals from the Creative and Cultural Industries.

The full programme for the evening is:

5.45pm Registration and light refreshments [Pavilion Building, College Road, Stoke-on-Trent]

6.15pm Short Presentations:

· Introduction to the event: what’s happened with our graduates in 2009/10?
· How is Staffordshire University currently working with employers, practitioners and professionals?
· How can you benefit from knowledge transfer and partnership working with the University? Update on current opportunities.

6.45pm Tours of the Shows

7.45pm Buffet Supper and Networking
