Art Shop Technician

£15,292 – £17,607 per annum pro-rata (Ref AMD09/10)

Required to work in our Art Shop selling specialist materials to students and staff, you’ll have experience of working in a busy retail environment, providing a high level of customer service and be competent in cash handling procedures. You’ll be a strong team player with the ability to effectively support a wide range of clientele.

Experience in an art and design setting is desirable as you may be called upon to advise customers in the use and application of materials.

Given that you’ll also have responsibility for the provision of technical support of the shop’s specialist photocopying equipment, a level of technical competence is desirable.

This is a part-time post working 23.5 hours per week for 34 weeks per year during term time.
